You can feel that immediately when you talk to Roberta Bini. “Our team is strong and passionate - and we are proud to be in Modena, the home of Lambrusco, Tortellini and Aceto Balsamico,” says the service heroine with a laugh. She has worked at Daimler Buses Italia for around two years and describes her work as the perfect opportunity to apply her technical knowledge in an area where precision, safety and service quality are crucial. Roberta prefers to take on tasks that require coordination, teamwork and the management of complex processes.

Passion for technology
When Roberta Bini talks about buses and coaches, you can immediately feel the passion for the technology in the vehicles she works on every day. “What fascinates me most about the vehicles is the complexity and their important role in everyday mobility,” reports the service heroine, who holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a master’s degree in vehicle technology. Roberta Bini is also fascinated by the current transition to e-mobility, as she works on modern technologies that reduce environmental impact and contribute to sustainable transport. “I know that our work has a direct positive impact on people’s daily lives and the environment,” she says in the interview.

More than just breakdown assistance
Bomporto is the central turntable platform for the supply of spare parts in Italy and the national point of contact for complex services, especially in the event of challenging mechanical problems, and is therefore ideally equipped to be able to react at any time in 24h service. Roberta Bini is part of a team that supports the workshop in solving particularly complex cases.
In the conversation, she recalls a special case in which she was able to help a customer whose vehicle had broken down immediately before an important trip: “Thanks to quick coordination with our workshop and close contact with the driver, we managed to get the vehicle back on the road within a few hours,” she says. It was not only the repair and technical support that were so valuable. "The customer was very grateful. Not only for the professional competence, but also for the confidence and care we have shown him throughout the entire process," says Roberta Bini and adds: “This is the essence of service at OMNIplus for me.”

The OMNIplus 24h Service is available around the clock and offers reliable and fast support in emergencies - from the procurement of genuine parts to payment processing. If a quick repair is not possible on site or in the nearby workshop, a replacement vehicle with driver can also be organised in some markets via the OMNIplus AddressPool.
