The CTP (Common Telematics Platform) is the digital heart of your vehicles and the basis for communication. If not already installed, it can also be retrofitted easily, creating the hardware prerequisites for you to be able to use OMNIplus ON digital services. These enable you to ensure optimal use of your fleet - this saves resources, protects the environment and also increases your vehicles' cost effectiveness and life cycle.
Digital refresh for your existing vehicles
The CTP is already installed as standard in Mercedes-Benz and Setra coaches from production year 2020 and in scheduled-service buses from production year 2022. Previously, it was available as optional equipment or in the form of FleetBoard telematics hardware. Our new retrofit solution is now specially designed for Mercedes-Benz and Setra vehicles with sales code EWT1, which was usually installed in
vehicles in the production period from 2018 to 2022. With this code, the preparation for the CTP is already available in the vehicle, meaning that retrofitting can be carried out easily and cost-effectively. This also gives your tried-and-tested existing vehicles the opportunity to fully benefit from the digital OMNIplus ON telematics services.
“By retrofitting the CTP, fleet operators can use up-to-date data and analysis tools to identify repair and maintenance requirements at an early stage. This enables them to prevent further damage, which further safeguards the life cycle of the vehicles.”
