On-board diagnostics does not replace off-board diagnostics (STAR diagnosis or Wabco controller), as certain functions can only be checked with the aid of off-board diagnostics (e.g. channel assignment of the sensors and actuators of the BS or ABS/ASR sensor system). The systems and fault codes compiled in various XML files here in the download only represent an unreal, maximum equipment scope. However, the scope of the systems that can actually be read out in the On-board diagnostics and diagnostic system depends on the vehicle equipment and technical version. For this reason, some of the systems listed may not be available for the specific vehicle.

Please note

After downloading, you must extract the zip file to any folder. Then open the appropriate XML file for the desired vehicle model series in this folder using a text editor (e.g. notepad, editor, etc.). Use the full-text search of your text editor to search for the fault code of your interest.
