A bus/coach is more than just a vehicle. He is responsible for getting people safely and on time to their objective. If the vehicle fails, it affects passengers, schedules and operations. That’s why you need a partner who knows the requirements of operators precisely and keeps fleets available. For 30 years, OMNIplus has been supporting fleet operators with Europe’s largest bus-and-coach-specific service network, a reliable parts supply and a constantly growing range of services.
The employees of the more than 130 eBus service centers are qualified to work on high-voltage systems.
One network: over 600 service centers
Fast assistance from the 24h Service requires a dense network. With over 600 service centers in Europe, OMNIplus operates the densest bus-and-coachspecific service network on the continent. The locations are divided into the categories BusWorld, BusPort and BusPoint according to their level of service. BusWorld dealerships offer the highest level: maximum part availability, special tools for bus-specific repairs and extended opening hours - because a bus that is supposed to roll again in the morning cannot wait. More than 130 of these outlets are specially designed for electric buses. With service employees who are specifically trained in handling high-voltage systems, equipped with the right tools and with a roof work stand that enables safe work on the components on the bus roof. The repair of batteries is also part of the scope of services. Customers with an electric bus from Mercedes-Benz in their fleet can be confident that they always have the necessary know-how within easy reach.
Full manufacturer competence: the service contracts for diesel and electric buses cover maintenance costs in a predictable manner.
Plannable costs: Service contracts
Maintenance and servicing are part of the business - the question is whether they can be planned or not. With OMNIplus service contracts, operators of the Mercedes-Benz and Setra brands secure full manufacturer competence for their vehicles: tailored to the respective fleet. Variants from Basic to Premium Dynamic are available for diesel buses and coaches. With predictable or usage-dependent costs. For electric buses, OMNIplus offers specially adapted eServiceContracts that are tailored to the special requirements of high-voltage technology and can be individually extended with additional packages.
“A large number of active service contracts shows that more and more bus companies are relying on plannable, calculable service.”
With over 300,000 replacement parts available to order and 24-hour delivery throughout Europe, OMNIplus ensures that parts are quickly available.
Replacement parts: classic, remanufactured or from the 3D printer
Behind every repair is a part that was there on time. The replacement parts logistics centre of Daimler Buses in Neu-Ulm - the world’s largest central warehouse for bus replacement parts - ensures exactly that: the number of orderable replacement parts has grown to over 300,000. Every day, trucks deliver replenishments and employees ship a large number of replacement parts - Europe-wide. Somewhere in Europe, a bus is back at the moment because the right part arrived yesterday night. In addition, OMNIplus reconditions original parts that have already been used and makes them available again as genuine remanufactured parts. At the same time, by returning
remanufacturable removed parts receive compensation and contribute to the expansion of the circular economy.
But OMNIplus thinks beyond the classic replacement parts supply. With industrial 3D printing, around 40,000 replacement parts for Mercedes-Benz and Setra buses and coaches can now be printed. Anyone who purchases a licence can also produce numerous parts directly in-house with a certified printer without waiting time. The result: shorter supply chains, less logistics and an improved CO₂ footprint*.
*Improved CO2 footprint by reducing inventory and overproduction, and shorter transport routes thanks to decentralised production.
“Around 40,000 replacement parts for Mercedes-Benz and Setra buses and coaches are already 3D printable today.”
Today, around 40,000 replacement parts for Mercedes-Benz and Setra buses and coaches are 3D printable - produced to requirements, exactly where they are needed.

Knowledge that moves: training and service information
Technology only helps if people master it. This is why training courses are part of the core of OMNIplus. Drivers learn how to move their vehicles more efficiently and safely. Workshop personnel are qualified from conventional drives to the high-voltage technology of modern electric buses. The courses are designed in a practical way and convey knowledge that can be used in everyday bus and workshop work the next day.
The range is supplemented by service information provided digitally by OMNIplus: technical documentation and maintenance instructions - always available when needed. With OMNIplus BusDoc, workshops have all repair-relevant data at their fingertips at all times. Available online around the clock and specific to the vehicle or model series. This saves search time and keeps the workforce where it makes the most sense: in the workshop.
