You and your new electric bus fleet can rely on our OMNIplus eServiceContracts which have been specially tailored to the requirements of electromobility. When purchasing an eCitaro, as standard you will receive a 5-year guarantee on the high-voltage battery, as well as for maintenance and repairs or replacement of high-voltage system components.

It is then possible for you to additional extend the scope of service (maintenance and repair) with calculable costs. Our eServiceContracts can be drawn up at any time and can include an individual contractual period and mileage. Furthermore, additional optional packages such as, for example, legal inspections can be selected. Thus, thanks to this comprehensive cover, you can look to the future of fully-electrical driving and rely on assistance from us as a reliable partner by your side.

In order for your entry into electromobility to be successful, Daimler Buses is at your disposal as a competent and experienced partner with a comprehensive eMobility system. We will be happy to advise you from the very beginning about adopting a new operating strategy as well as about energy management and a stable charging infrastructure. We've also thought about the future of your eCitaro with our OMNIplus Service range which is tailored specifically to the requirements of electric vehicles.

This means that driving your fully-electric buses will remain safe, reliable and calculable for a long time to come.

You can put together the optimum service plan to best suit the requirements of your electric bus fleet, Choose between a basic guarantee for the high-voltage battery, an extended battery guarantee and an eServiceContract.

Basic battery guarantee

When you purchase an eCitaro, it comes as standard with a basic guarantee for the high-voltage battery and a two-year guarantee on high-voltage components (up to 200,000 km).

This basic guarantee covers:

up to ten years for solid-state batteries or up to 280 MWh energy throughput per high-voltage battery group/battery pack (HVBB)
+
up to five years or up to 60 – 80 MWh for NMC batteries (stage 2) energy throughput per HVBB.1

Extended battery guarantee

An extended battery guarantee enables easy-to-plan costs and can be concluded on the basis of a customer-specific feasibility study.

HV battery

eBasic ServiceContract (without battery)

Covers the high-voltage battery as well as repairs to or replacement of high-voltage components.

Maintenance in accordance with manufacturer guidelines

All maintenance work prescribed by the manufacturer guidelines (see maintenance booklet) in accordance with the work specification for all parts installed in the vehicle ex-factory, excluding additionally supplied parts. Also included is the replacement of parts and operating materials requiring regular replacement in accordance with the maintenance booklet, excluding battery charging.

The scope excludes such things as:
Impact damage, equipment that is not permanently installed in the vehicle, care and aesthetic repairs, advertising space, daily inspection work in accordance with the Owner's Manual and the materials required by the company due to repairs, tyres, damage to wheels, glass breakage, upholstery, seat covers, floor coverings.
