Since 2016, Daimler Buses has been relying on this digital production technology - made of plastic, synthetic resin, ceramic or metal, in certified processes.

Production on site - or in-house
For even faster supply directly to the customer, OMNIplus has developed a mobile 3D printing centre: a container-based mini factory that is used as an industrial production centre at selected service centers. At the same time, operators can purchase certified licences for in-house production via the OMNIplus 3D printing licence shop and produce parts themselves via a 3D printing centre of their choice - exactly when they are needed.

Replacement parts “on demand” - worldwide and long-term
The data records of all components are stored in the digital warehouse with all production information and can be reordered at any time using their part number. This ensures a fast, global supply of parts for decades - without warehousing costs, with shorter supply chains and a reduced CO2 footprint. Ideal for small quantities and special equipment that would hardly be economically feasible conventionally.
